Committees and Programmes
ODIN has many ways for their members to get more involved wether its through helping out for events or even becoming a coach, there is always a position for you!

Activities Committee
The activities committee are the members you look for when an event needs planning. Whether it's our Odinners that we do every Thursday or an event that requires an extra set of hands, this committee will get the job done.

Audit Commitee
Odin has many finances to cover and these require extensive management. To help out our Quaestor with this, the audit committee was formed and is always looking for interested members in helping out.

Coaching Committee
The coaching committee handles all of the coaching for new and returning members of Odin. Being the largest committee gives everyone the flexibility of being able to sign up for multiple coachings a week offered by different members of the committee.

Odin Racing Programme
The Odin Racing Programme is for those who really seek to improve themselves for upcoming races. Reccomended for those with a passion for rowing and willing to do several practices a week.

Racing Committee
The racing committee can always be found helping our Commissioner of Races with all matters race related. They are also in charge of helping with the management of the Odin Racing Programme and making sure it runs smoothly.

The Coaching Committee (CoCo) is made up of Odin club members who want to pass on the knowledge they have about rowing and organise training sessions for all members. It was first put in place by Auguste van Ysseldijk (Board IX) as a way to keep the level of rowing and coaching high, to make coaching available to all members, and to standardise knowledge and procedure amongst coaches. Coaches are expected to:
-
Organise training sessions on a weekly basis. These sessions include water sessions, ergometer sessions, and/or strength training sessions.
-
Help members prepare for their safety exams. This includes both the theory components and the practical skills required to succeed.
-
Attend a few meetings with the Commissioner of Internal Affairs and the rest of the CoCo to plan teams and trainings for the club members. Coaches are encouraged to bring new ideas on how to structure teams and trainings to these meetings.

The Audit Committee (AuCo) 's main job is to check all Odin's finances. The Committee cross references boekstukken (reimbursement requests and invoices) with the bank statements. This is usually done before GAs but the AuCo can ask for this at any time.
In addition, the committee checks the proposed budget and results. Usually, the committee asks questions on decisions and gives advice. Lastly, the AuCo checks and advises on changes to be made to the Internal Rules of Operation.
In short, the Audit Committee checks and advises the Board on all legal matters.

Odin Racing Programme (ORP)
Consistent training for consistent results
Further Information
The ORP is for those who are interested in putting their training progress to work in races. Whilst one does not have to be apart of ORP to race, it is highly recommended. ORP meets 3-4 times a week to train and trainings are more high intensity than the standard trainings offered by our coaches. The ORP is run by the current Racing Committee who can be seen in their section. Interested in joining? Sign-ups start at the begining of UCR semesters though you can also contact the commisioner of Races for further information:
